370z

Read this great review and write up: 370z

Q: What effect will the release of the 370Z have on the price of the 350Z?
I’m looking to buy a 350z sometime soon (6mo-2yr). I’m hoping that the release of the 370z, coupled with the economic troubles of the automobile industry, will result in a price drop on all levels of the 350z (new and used).

Do you think Nissan will reduce the price of a new 350z since it will be discontinued in January 2009 with the release of the 370z?

A: Nissan may not have a rebate or anything, but they will offer some good apr’s. Plus dealers may let them go for invoice. I suspect used prices may remain the same. It’s all about how well the car is taken care of, mileage, year, trim level, etc….

Q: What year is the nissan 370z going to be called?
Im not asking “when is it coming out” i wanna know if its gonna be either called a 2009 370z or 2010 370z.

Thank you

A: The 2009 370Z has not arrived at dealerships yet. GTR launch New Maxima Launch lot’s of cool things going on at Nissan. We still have two Nismo 350z one white and one black, 2008’s and several trim level 2008 350Z’s all ready to sell at year end prices. Fort Worth Area Nissan Dealership. Nissan could do what they did with the 2008 Murano there was not a 2008, So Nissan may not have a 2009 and call the 370Z a 2010

Q: Would you call a 350z with a 370z engine a 370z car? or would it be called a 350z?
Even if you reverse it, would a 370z with a 350z engine be called a 350z? It would be definitely called a 370z with a 350z engine correct? Friend is debating on this dumb subject.

A: The car would be considered whatever body style it is, (Ex. if you have a car and put a truck engine in it, would you still call it a truck or a car? Or if you have a supra v6 and put a chevy v8 its still called a supra) So a 350z with a 370z engine would be considered a 350z, and the 370z with a 350z engine would still be a 370z

Q: How tall do you have to be to drive the nissan 370z?
Alright I am looking into buying the 370z. It’s perfect for me, power, safety, and luxury. I have not sat in it yet. I am 5′5″ 16 years old. How tall are you, if you have a nissan 370z?

A: Kid listen. a 370z fits mostly anybody from 6′0 to the little people who built it “not trying to sound racist” but listen donnot buy a car that you got no idea about. ask around, also unless you got road time I would suggest getting the older Z cars. they may not what the ghetto people drive but they do perform better and also I too own a Z car cept mines an 83. There are other cars like that as well. for example the Caddilacs Buicks Lincolns all are bult just like what you are looking for and also they fit people any size and heres the best part THEY GOT MORE THEN 2 SEATS! I do say this the Z series cars are fun and they are fast and luxurious I do think it is funny though the 240Z and the 84 300ZX litteraly would eat that 370z I know they to some do not liik nice but they can do what the 370 cannot. Also heres another problem Nissan parts are a bitch to come buy after they are made. for example I paid $20.00 for a brake pin that would have cost me $2.00 at the junk yard. So listen think before you leap into a inport sports car such as the Z.

Q: How much horse power does the new nissan 370z have?
How much horse power does the new nissan 370z have?, and if there is anyone who owns it please tell me how you like it. :)

A: My best friend has one and its amazing.
He got the 7 speed auto and gosh its fast.(Fatser than my 09G37 sport).
The 370Z Gets 332BHP and puts down about 280 HP to the rear wheel and 242 foot pounds of torque.
0-60 in the 7 speed auto with VDC off comes up in 4.7 seconds.

Q: What Would you prefer g37 coupe or the 370z?
I would like to buy a new car and i am looking into the g37 coupe type S thats like the car ive always wanted but the thing is that im seeing that the new 370z is coming out i like the style and caught my attention. I would like to know what you guys would preferred in style and performance in which one looks better?

A: the infinity and nissan almost the same thing..
but the 370 is alot better..
the g37 is more of a luxurious car…the 370 is alot more fun

Q: What gives the 350z, 370z and the g35 that unique muffler sound?
I’ve only heard the sound on these vehicles, can i buy that muffler to put on my 09 civic si? Just a question, and i dont need anyone bangin on my 4 banger ok. I know the si sucks.

A: Three bangs around the circle 6 CLY Smooth Buzz motor noise cannot be duplicated with only 2 bangs around the circle 4 CLY Motor sound will be more raspy. Borla Exhaust might be the best sounding option for the SI. The 370 sounds like the eariler 350 at idle and mid RPM but turn to full throttle the 370 really sounds off. Variable lift and timing of camshafts is unique.

Q: What type of credit score might be expected when purchasing a 370z?
Can you also get the premium wheels with the 7-speed automatic only? So I guest it would be half of the sport package with just the upgraded wheels.

A: As long as your income to debt ratio is ok, and your FICO score is decent, anything above 600 or so, you’ll be approved. These days just about anyone would be approved through a dealer since they can’t sell cars.

Q: What’s the price of a used 370z after 2 years?
I’m talking about the 370z with the sports package which is for about $33500 in America.
I just want to know what will be the price of a 2009 used with moderate mileage of this car (great condition) after 2 years (late 2011) in America.

Thank you.

A: Hard to say b/c the 370 is still fairly new. All you can do is look at the history of the 350 & see what it looks like after 2 yrs. I would guess maybe $20K in two yrs. That’s about 1/3 of the current MSRP provided the car was taken care of.

Q: What are the differences beween the 370Z Base/Touring and Nismo engines?
I know that the Nismo engine has more 18 more horsepower than the Base/Touring engine, but what other differences are there?

A: hot cams and exhaust.

Q: What is the button on the other side of the start button on the 2010 nissan 370z?
Its located on the dashboard just on the other side of the start button if possible give a picture of it real close THANKS!

A: Push button starter button on the right center stack and VDC off switch on the left side of the instrument cluster. VDC uses brakes and throttle control to control slides skids. Section #2 page #2 in the owners manual. If you buy a complex car take time to read the owners manual.

Q: What size speakers does my 2009 Enthusiast 370z have?
I have searched crutchfield, bestbuy, scosche, and the manual. I cannot determine what size speakers are in my car! Can anyone point me in the right direction?

A: ya, I see what you are saying. I can’t find it either. I think that maybe you should call Crutchfield. I bet that will get you an answer.

Q: What are some cars similar to the Nissan 370z?
I really like porche-esque cars but I am still in college and can’t afford a really nice car. I want something that look sleek yet professional and sexy while still being practical and not outrageously expensive. Any ideas?
I like the G37’s but… I need cheap…. my mom wants around 5K but that is not happening. How much do you think the lease payments /Car payments would be on a 370Z?
I realized what I was looking at and loving was the Chrysler Crossfire…. and opinions?

A: Lease payments on a base 370Z should be in the $500-$600 per month range with about $1500-$2000 due at signing. The lease rates on the Z are TERRIBLE. Super high interest rates.

The G37 coupe should be around the same depending on options. The lease rates on those are better than the Zs.

If you want a G37 sedan however, you’ll be looking at $400-$500 since Nissan has improved those rates.

Last may, I leased my G37 coupe for about $422 a month with $1300 due at signing. Can’t really get that nowadays.

You can however, get into a Mercedes Benz C350 for around $2000 at signing and $450 a month for 48 months/12k miles per year.

Q: Can you drive a nissan 350z or 370z on your first year of p’s?
Can you drive a nissan 350z or 370z on your first year of p’s? because im just about to turn 18 and i wonna get a nissian 350z or 370z would i be able to drive it?

A: You can drive anything you want in the USA Only thing can you afford the payment and insurance on. Just remember high powered sports cars are costly to maintain. Also when you get the car or before please take a high performance driving school. More young people are killed on the roads than the troops in the two wars we are fighting. Inexperienced distracted swerving in and out of traffic mostly. Showing off for friends and worst of all at night. Please be careful. Don’t crash your $37,000 car right after you get it.

Q: my father has agreed to get me a 370z but i have a problem?
i cant decide what color to get, i haven’t seen any 370z on the road and dont know what color looks good for a guy. i will be tinting the window 5% so any one have any ideas?

A: dark charcoal or black…that would look sick.
