Q: Will a mountain bike fit in 2009 Altima Sedan?
I am buying a bike and want to know if it will fit in my Altima Sedan. The bike has large frame (18 inch). Ideally I wouldn’t like to take the wheels off and I would be happy to place it either in trunk or back seat. Did anyone try, will it fit? I have to bring it from the shop first when it arrives so need to figure out!

A: It should fit with the front wheel off. You may need to lower the seat also. This shouldn’t require any tools for a modern mountain bike, but you will need to learn to operate the quick release levers as well as how to release the front brakes. These are both things the bike shop can show you in a couple minutes before you go. They’re good things to know in case you need to change a tire or adjust your seat while you’re riding.

A: No not really. but they do rate based on other things such as safety features and replacement cost. generally nissan altimas are not rated higher then a normal car.

Q: Where can I get a good looking and CHEAP grille for my 2009 Nissan Altima Sedan?
If you have any suggestions somewhere to get cheap tail lights, body kits, or performance upgrades, or anything else, I would appreciate it!

A: So I worked at this Nissan dealership for a few years and we had this one customer who came in with an 09 Altima and he had it totally tricked out. I was talking to him about it and he did a lot of it all by himself. For the grille, he painted it. Sand it down to the base plastic though, don’t paint over the chrome/silver. He got taillights from yourhotcar.com. He got a body kit from there too. Performance upgrades though, you gotta stick with Nismo. Go to your Nissan dealership and ask them for Nismo parts list or something and then see what you want. Commonly, I’ve seen Nismo suspensions. I would recommend a AEM cold-air intake. He had that on his and it was beastly.

Im talking about the most basic package available, does it come with the automatic transmission?

A: Yes the Transmission is called Continiuosly Variable Transmission or CVT it is fully automatic.

A: Consumer reports has the 2008 Altima rated as the #1 midsized sedan. This is a distinction that the Accord held for the past 10 years.

Not much bad to say about it.

You will average 25-29mpg in the 2.5s (4 cylinder), depending on driving habits.

A: Yes they will bolt up however the 350z stock tires will need to be replaced with 4 tires of the same size. Your traction control and ABS brakes may malfunction seeing different wheel speeds. You may do better buying a set of 4 aftermarket rims.

Q: help me choose which car 2008 altima sedan or 2008 accord sedan?
i’m a 17 years old and i want a new sedan, which one you think looks better for a 17 years old. Excluding the coupe(i hate coupe, currently owning one). The v6 2008 altima sedan or the v6 2008 honda accord. I’ve tested both but can’t seem to make up my mind!. Please help!!

A: They say the new Accord is very nice….get that.

A: The only intelligent way to make that decision is to test drive both vehicles and see which one you like the best. After driving both your decision should be easy.

Q: How good is a 1996 Nissan Altima GXE sedan?
Anything that you can tell me about the car? how it drives, handles, fuel, anything that will help me with the choice of getting this car?
It has 94,000 miles.

A: I owned a 1997 Altima Limited Edition, and it was a great car. The interiors look a little cheap, but it has great function over form. The controls are super easy to use.

Handeling is decent for this car. It has an independent suspension, 4 wheel disk brakes and a 2.4L 4 cylinder that has good milage capabilities.

When I had mine, I averaged between 24-30MPG on the highway. But in order to get that milage, you have to be diligent on tune ups, oil changes, and not driving like a maniac.

They are fantastic little cars that are very underated.

Q: What would you recomment me to buy a 2004 Ford Mustang or a Brand New V6 Sedan Altima ?
I am so confused i want to own a sedan sports car and a 4weel which is a FJ Cruiser… if you can advice me please help me :)

i need a reliable bike rack to fit 2 bikes on my altima that WONT scratch my car. anybody know any good ones? im not a serious biker. me and my girl just go biking at random parks occasionally

A: There is a company called Allen that makes some bike racks that look as though they may do the trick. Unfortunately, I do not know their web address.
