2011 stang
Read this great review and write up: 2011 stang
Q: 2010 mustang v6 with 0 miles for a 2011 stang v6??
Ok my mustang is being built in February & will be at the dealership in may (2010 mustang v6)
I was at the dealership & he said the 2011 is coming out he just got word today( I already knew about it) he went through everything new like hp 6 speed & whatever
You think i could trade it in almost even??
i want that 2011 it is RAW!!! hahaha
OK then how much will i be paying?? just guess
A: If the 2010 is not being built until next month, can’t your dealer cancel the order?????????????
Then you can buy the 2011.
Q: Is everyone else as excited about the 2011 ford mustang gt as I am?
Ford is putting the 5.0L engine back in the stang and its going to be faster then the SS Camaro and the Srt8 Charger and have a better hp/lbs ratio then them. How great are the 2011 stangs going to be
Also faster and better hp/lbs ratio then the dodge srt8 challenger as well
A: YES!!
I’m very excited and we are starting to put in our orders now.
Even those that don’t need the extra power are excited because Ford is offering big incentives on the 2010’s to make room for the 2011’s
It’s a win-win situation for everybody!.. except maybe the ‘competition’…

Q: 2011 Ford Mustang Pricing in one year?
I’m headed to college in the fall but I will be getting a new car in May of 2011. Can anyone give me an estimate on a ‘Stang off of a year lease (a year from this point)? If you can — I’m interested in the V6 base Automatic and the V6 Premium Automatic package (maybe with Pony Package). I’m hoping to be able to lease one for 3-4 years and under $300 per month (after a $2000 down payment)… I’m hoping this is possible because I’ll be getting it off of a year lease and cars obviously depreciate. Let me know if this is possible! This is my dream car!
Thanks!
A: First off, wait until you graduate. Second, you should not lease- because you will not get approved, since you do have any credit history. Finally, even though the car is to be supposedly leased after a year, the residual will be low, thus the lease payment will be high.
Get yourself a reasonably priced used car, and drive it til it drops.
Q: 2011 mustang v6 premium or base model?
i went to the dealer n test drove the new stang n it feel pretty dope.
im not really into speed or anything, im just into the cruising thing thats why im leaning towards the v6.
but dont know whether to get the premium or base.. im not really the leather type of guy but i really want good sound. is it worth it to pay the extra 3g for the premium for the shaker 500 or just stick with the base?
A: Dont buy what you dont want. If you dont want all the leather and junk then dont get it. The systems they put in all the mustangs have good bass and overall sound so you will be good and plus you will be cruising at 305 hp with 30 mpg. I think ur good lol
Q: 2011 Ford Mustang, what do you think?
Ford is boosting the horsepower for the 2011 Mustang. The V6 model will have 305 Hp and a dual exhaust system. Also the 2011 Mustang GT will have a 5.0 Liter 302 cubic inch V8 kicking out 415 ponies. So which would you choose?
Is a 305 hp V6 enough power for you? Way cheaper than a GT and still has lots of kick.
Or do you have the need for speed? In other words would you get a 415 hp Stang GT?
@ Alexx: Yeah, the Mustang Shelby GT is one sweet ride, but there are not many working class joes that can afford one of those ponies. Maybe if I win the lottery bud.
A: mustang has always been a great pony car. sure its battling the challenger and the camaro. but even tho those r somewhat better looking…. the new mustang is a bombshell handling is bar none and the mustang has been around forever and never disapeared while the camaro and challenger have disapeared b4 and barely been revived. camaro is stunning but visibility sucks. challenger really impressive but…. to heavy for real performance drving. if i were u depending on how much moolah u have id get the 2011 shelby mustang
Q: 2011 Mustang or 2006 350Z?
Ok I was thinkin bout gettin a used Z, I was so impressed with the value for the price, but then I saw the new V6 Mustang and was far more impressed. So if it was your money, which would you go for? The Z is about 8 grand cheaper, but then again it’s used. The stang does get slightly better mpg and performance but I donno the Z’s price is tempting. I kinda prefer the stang’s looks but…
OMG a Trans Am? Hell no, no offense, but the only thing good about that car IS the engine. Might as well be in a V8 Cavalier.
And as for my “background knowledge”, the 2011 V6 is damn near as fast as most Cobras and 300ZXs before Ford supercharged ‘em in ‘03
A: I’d get the Mustang even if its got a V6. About as fast. Don’t need to worry that someone else beat it up for 5 years. Got a warranty. Got a backseat (barely usable but still its got one).
Q: Do you prefer the new Mustangs, or the new Camaros?
Is this article accurate?
http://jalopnik.com/5362504/2011-mustang-v6-to-out+torque-camaro-v6
It doesn’t sound accurate nor fair to me. First of all, they have different figures for the V6 Mustang. In some places it says that the V6 Stang will have 305HP. In others, it says 315HP. Well, which is it?
Also, in the graph comparison, it is incorrect. The 2010 Chevy Camaro actually has 304HP, not 300. Moreover, they aren’t comparing apples and apples. They’re comparing a 2011 Ford Mustang to a 2010 Chevy Camaro. But I guess I am biased, because I like the Camaros more.
What is your opinion?
A: Regarding the next generation Mustang V6 engine, I believe it’s the Duratec 37 engine, and is expected to output 305hp.
Anyway, I definitely prefer the Camaro in either V6 or V8 form. More sophisticated tech under the hood in V6 form and good old American tech under the hood in V8 form (GM is still using good old American pushrod engine technology while Ford has sold out and gone with SOHC for most of its V8 engines). Also has a much more sophisticated suspension than Mustang.
Also, when you compare the 2, the only way Mustang wins is when you take the Shelby GT500, but it’s a supercharged beast, while the Camaro SS is naturally aspirated. If Z-28 ever comes out it’ll be supercharged and is expected to easily match anything out of Shelby or Roush. When it comes to naturally aspirated models, Camaro absolutely destroys the Mustang.
Camaro V6 = 304hp
Mustang V6 = 210hp (I know Ford is coming out with a new V6 that will push 300+hp, but it’s not out yet.)
Camaro V8 = 426hp
Mustang V8 = 315hp (Naturally Aspirated) 540hp (Supercharged)
Next years Mustang V8 is expected to be DOHC and output 400hp to finally be competitive with the Camaro V8 and Challenger V8. So GM will need to do some work on next year’s Camaro if they want to retain the performance crown in the NA category. Or they could just release the Z-28.lol
